In most fantasy, witches fall into two camps: the ethereal, nature-loving sage or the cackling, hook-nosed hag. The Vulgar Witch is neither. She is loud, unwashed, tactical, and terrifyingly effective. She doesn’t bargain with demons over tea; she threatens to turn their spines inside out if they don’t do the dishes.
