Introduction SuperCam Plus is proprietary tethering and scanning software developed primarily for Reflecta’s ProScan series and Pacific Image Electronics’ (PIE) PowerSlide and PrimeFilm film scanners. It controls motorized film strips, performs multi-exposure scanning, and applies dust/scratch removal (iR/ICE).
Native – 100% USB bandwidth, full scanner speed. Limitations: Requires Intel Mac; rebooting to switch OS; no M1/M2/M3 support. Result: Fully functional SuperCam Plus. 3.2 Virtual Machines (UTM, VMware Fusion, Parallels Desktop) Process: Run Windows 11 ARM (for M1/M2/M3) or Windows x64 (for Intel) inside VM.
SuperCam Plus is compiled exclusively for Windows (x86/x64) . There is no official macOS version as of April 2026. Consequently, Mac users face compatibility barriers.
