5.1 Firmware - Rk3188 Android

Does Netflix HD work? A: No – Widevine L1 is not available on RK3188 custom ROMs. Only SD (480p). Final Verdict Android 5.1 is the last stable OS for RK3188 devices. It’s not buttery smooth, but with proper tuning, it breathes new life into otherwise obsolete hardware. Use it as a retro emulation box, Kodi light client, or a dedicated AirPlay receiver.

Will this work on RK3188T (lower bin)? A: Yes, but avoid overclocked kernels. Use “safe” builds with 1.4GHz max.
