Rodriguez pointed to one of the images. "Look at this. The symbol on the wall... I've seen it before."
Rodriguez nodded. "I do. And I think we're looking at a new set of crimes in the making."
Jameson's eyes narrowed. "Where?"
Detective Jameson sat at his desk, staring at the small, unassuming hard drive in front of him. It had been recovered from a anonymous tip, and the file name on the device was all that seemed to give away its purpose: "REPO.v.0.1.2-Kirigiri.rar".
Jameson's partner, Detective Rodriguez, walked into the room, sipping on a coffee. "What's the story with this thing?" she asked, nodding towards the hard drive. REPO.v.0.1.2-Kirigiri.rar
As they dug deeper, they found a series of gruesome images and videos. They seemed to depict people trapped in impossible situations, with no clear escape. Jameson's gut told him that this was more than just some twisted individual's fantasy.
The first thing they saw was a collection of cryptic messages and diagrams. It looked like some sort of puzzle, but Jameson and Rodriguez had no idea what it was supposed to solve. Rodriguez pointed to one of the images
"Game over. The next player has already begun."
